However, the attitude and professionalism of the actual movers on the day of the move were far from pleasant. As soon as they arrived, they commented on how many items I had and immediately insisted that the move would take twice as long as the original estimate. They began arguing about why the estimate was wrong and said that if I didn’t agree, they would just leave. It was an unpleasant start. In the end, the final cost came out to almost double the quoted estimate. I do have a slightly larger one-bedroom, but based on recent reviews—especially from customers who moved a full three-bedroom—I expected the cost to be within that range. Instead, mine ended up being about 1.5 times higher than those larger moves, which was surprising. Two movers came, and while none of my belongings were damaged and they did wrap things carefully, the entire process was extremely slow and did not feel professional at all. I honestly felt that I could have packed faster myself; in fact, I ended up packing some cabinets on my own, and even the move-out cleaning crew helped because it was frustrating to watch. They also kept complaining that they didn’t bring enough boxes, to the point where I had to go out in the middle of the move and buy additional boxes myself. Although they had a dolly, they rarely used it and instead carried boxes one by one, which made everything take much longer. Throughout the move, they repeatedly complained about the time, the number of boxes, and why things were taking so long, which made the entire experience very unpleasant. I reached out a week prior to my move via Yelp, and they responded quickly and efficiently with the best quote in comparison to several other moving services. They arrived on time with 2 gentleman, who were INCREDIBLY STRONG. I had some very heavy furniture, which they made look light as a feather. Everything was moved to the new place within the time frame they quoted, placed in the correct rooms of the home, and all without a scratch. Lia K.Rexton was fantastic for my upright piano move! They clearly knew what they were doing with a delicate but heavy instrument. They came with all of their own packing/padding and moving material to keep the instrument and themselves safe. The price was entirely reasonable (unlike overpriced quotes I got from other piano moving companies). They were prompt, professional, and friendly. I have to say you get what you pay for. I chose this mover due their lowest rate comparing to other movers quoted. Their movers was very respectful and kind. The past years of hiring movers they are extremely fast. This is by far the slowest movers I've ever experienced. The movers was young and they look like teenagers... It made me feel like because of the cheap rate they're taking their time. Who ever I speak to was not being clear of the surprised charges. I called and asked why he never mention about the charges when the last few time we txted and also spoke on the phone. His reply was it shows on their website and I never asked about any other charges... When I reached out for quote I did asked for their rate but other charges should also be answered...Posted on Yelp

Maddie D.These guys just called me requesting I change my review because it's the only negative review associated with their business. When I asked why they're calling me about this over 6 months later, they told me "it's not like we called you a day later, we gave you a lot of time" as if I owed them an updated review. They also called me about a week after posting my initial review to offer a partial reimbursement-- it's now clear this reimbursement was an attempt to have me remove my review altogether, rather than to acknowledge the undue stress and hassle they caused they day of my move. They are fast, efficient, and thoughtful. They put moving quilts down to avoid getting our new carpets dirty. They unloaded/stacked our boxes in a deliberate way that made unpacking easier. Two weeks later, they moved some important family heirlooms from a house in Old Lyme, Connecticut to that same storage facility in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Both moves were absolutely perfect. Every communication was clear and timely. Prices were upfront and competitive. Movers were smart, kind, friendly, professional, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure our items were taken care of exactly how I would like them boxed, wrapped, moved and placed. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They will definitely stay in my contact list for any future moves.
